According to reports in Spain the Blues are prepared to provide the 18-year-old a sizable deal this summer to entice him to west London.
When questioned about Chelseas interest in Gavi during a news conference before Sundays game against Getafe Xavi appeared to be unconcerned with the issue.
Xavi argued that Gavi wouldn’t be content at another club.
He is a key member of the squad and has everything at age 18. His future in my opinion is at this club.
