This Summer Barcelona Forward Target Will Become A Free Agent Although Competition Is Anticipated

According to Mundo Deportivo Borussia Monchengladbach sports director Ronald Virkus has formally announced that Marcus Thuram won’t be signing a contract extension and will instead become a free agent in June.

When asked about the situations of Thuram and Ramy Bensebaini who will both leave the club in the summer Virkus said “We were in open contact with both of them and we knew the current state. It is a shame that they are not going to extend the terms of their contracts about to expire since both have contributed to us a lot in the four years prior to their departures.

Thuram has scored 13 goals and contributed four assists in 26 Bundesliga games this season for the German club. Additionally he averages a crucial pass per game and has produced five major opportunities.
