The center defender who is 16 years old has already begun to play for Hajduk Splits senior team and has already made five league appearances in Croatia. He has already been connected to teams like Manchester City Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Sport reports that City are the favorites with any possible cost already set to exceed €10 million. Barcelona has joined the group of teams keeping an eye on him.

MANY BARCELONA SIGNINGS FROM LAST SUMMER SEE NO POINT IN LOWERING THEIR SALARIES ACCORDING TO A REPORT
Journalist Toni Juanmarti claims that certain Barcelona players who joined the team last summer “see no point” in reducing their pay this season because they had signed under severe financial conditions.
There have been rumors that Barcelona may be considering a team-wide wage decrease for the first-team players which could help them save about €70 million.
The writer claims that certain players who joined the club in 2022 are sending out a message that cutting their salary again this year is unnecessary because they had signed under challenging conditions and made some sacrifices the previous year.
It is believed that all of these players signed contracts that complied with the clubs new pay policy. Therefore it is uncertain if they will consent to a further salary cut before the upcoming season.
This summer marks the expiration of Busquets current contract and if he decides to extend it will be at a much reduced pay.
BARCELONA RIGHT-BACK SHORTLIST ADDED TWO NAMES
Over the course of the season a lot of names have been suggested and MD has put together Barcelonas longlist for the post. There are a few well-known names in it like Thomas Meunier Juan Foyth and Diogo Dalot.
The right-back for Manchester United has yet to see the results of his contract negotiations and at this time he only has one year left on his contract which might lead to a sale.
However the two additional names on the shortlist also appear improbable. Another option is Malo Gusto who Chelsea just acquired for €25 million while on loan at Lyon. This would probably require a financing agreement.
Fans of Barcelona might be alarmed because it seems like not much is happening. Given their financial condition all of these solutions appear difficult to implement or not at all suitable.
